What type of tents do you offer? 
We currently offer sailcloth tents, clear top and white frame tents in a variety of sizes. Not all tents are created equal, and we offer some of the best in style and quality. All of our tents are recently purchased, the industry’s best brands, high style and expertly maintained. Our 40′ and 50′ frame tents feature clear gable ends that offer loads of natural light, our grand 66′ wide sailcloth tents have tall (king) center poles for incredible “ceiling height,” and the option to add clear sidewalls to protect natural light and views.

Sailcloth Tent
There is something magical about this style tent with its classic, elegant lines, nod to nautical, detailed stitching and sky-scraping wood style beams. Inspired by sails of a ship, sailcloth tents are made of a sheer sail-like material that allows light to shine through and illuminate the night sky. Supported by the tension from its poles/beams, the sailcloth’s sculpted peaks and eaves combine to create an open-air event space that’s unique and breathtaking.   • Timber style poles vs. standard metal poles
  • Translucent, all-weather fabric that lets in a soft filtered light during the day and glows at night vs. light-blocking vinyl
  • A beautiful under-top that you want to show off, featuring sleek lines, crafted artistic touches, including star-stitched reinforcements, and an open-air, alfresco feel.
  • Sailcloth is waterproof and strong to ensure your special event isn’t affected by the elements.
What should I know when planning for a tented event?
When it comes to tents, there are a few requirements and need-to-knows to ensure a smooth and successful tented experience, including space requirements, tent staking and site access. How is the tent size determined?
There are a few factors that help determine what size will work best for you including:
How many guests are you anticipating?
Will your event be seated, a served dinner or buffet?
Will you have a dance floor and/or band ?
What size and shape tables will you be using?
Are you incorporating any lounge or cocktail areas?
How many bars will be under the the tent?

How much space is required for a tent?
Tents must be staked into flat ground (dirt or grass) and require at least an additional 10 feet along the perimeter. For example, if your event requires a 45’x64′ tent, you would need at least 55’x74′ of space.

What about rainy or hot/cool weather conditions?
We have you covered no matter the weather or temperature. We can provide clear sides for all of our tents to keep the open, light and bright look. Clear sides showcase your event’s beautiful setting, even in cooler temperatures or rainy weather.  We also offer forced heat for chillier temperatures found in late fall. For warmer weather, we have low-profile, pole-mounted fans, or we can assist you with air conditioning options.

Do you offer flooring?
Yes, we offer carpet, vinyl, and wood flooring. We also have Groove flooring, a premium flooring in American Barnwood, linked here. This laydown flooring is a great way to ensure flat, even ground remains dry and level.

Where do you deliver and how does it work?
We are located in Annapolis, Md and offer delivery to surrounding states. Our professional delivery team handles all tent and furniture assembly and collection. Tableware and linens are drop-off only, and are not included in setup.

Honeywood tents will be delivered the week of your event, as determined by our schedule and the weather forecast. Rentals will be delivered and setup based on your floor plan. All items susceptible to rain damage will be placed undercover away from tent perimeter. These items will be the clients’ responsibility to setup day-of and return undercover once the event is through. Honeywood is happy to return for day-of setup for an additional fee. Upon reservation, we’ll provide a delivery questionnaire to firm up details, for completion at your earliest convenience.

Can I get all of my event rentals from you? 
Yes! We pride ourselves on being a one-stop shop for all your event rental needs. Advantages of sourcing all of your rentals from Honeywood include:

  • We are there every step of the way. From the first call and to the beginning stages of planning, to layout and design, we are here to talk through your needs, vision and changes. Not to mention, complimentary event design assistance.
  • Minimal vendors loading into and out of your property.
  • Fewer delivery fees, and therefore less unnecessary spending.
  • A smooth, worry-free delivery and pickup experience. No need to stress about the logistics and scheduling of multiple vendors.
  • When it comes to our tent clients, we aim to be all-inclusive. If there is something you don’t see, we’ll try our best to help build, find or purchase these pieces, such as lounge furniture, rugs, pillows, lawn games, design accessories (you name it!) to help create the dream day you envision.
  • Our rentals belong to us and are not being sourced from other companies. This allows us more control of our inventory and the ability to stand behind their care and quality.
  • Custom builds for tent clients.
